I’m trying to do this but it doesn’t transition to next slide automatically
(coming here from the coursera course too) I know we're supposed to feel like this is an example of ineffective communication because of the formal language, but I think there really is a target market for this kind of presentation format and these types of in-depth can honestly be really helpful. It's not 'an attempt to be professional' the man was literally able to discuss the origin of the pecha kucha, explain how to plan for and make one step by step, and provide us with tips and recommendations all in SEVEN MINUTES! He taught us about pecha kucha through a pecha kucha. This is literally so well done I don't understand what the coursera bro is yapping on about. The only people this format would not work for are people in a rush and people that want to know everything in a 30 second reel lmao All the positive comments only prove how helpful this video was. Thank you, Mr. Marcus!
Amazing video. I hope you're doing well wherever you are
the sound is very low.😓
Great Job
Thank you Prof. Marcus
Thx,
who is watching it because maam saida recommended it.
Very well done sir!
👍
If only my company would employ this strategy for presentations, my (work) life would be so much easier
I'm finding the scoring guidelines an came across your video can you help me out in this
Can you please provide a reference for the Easton definition?
Thanks
Thanks professor
I'm sitting for a final examination board in a few days. It is Linguistics and I find this topic rather difficult to understand. This video was really useful! Thank you so much for sharing. BTW if I pass Linguistics, I graduate as an English teacher :) Thanks for sharing, Marcus!
Thanks for the video! How do you pause the recording and fix mistakes?
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I learned something new today
Really perfect thank you so much!

I'm here
vraiment incroyable la video
This stuff is so simple and yet so difficult - and it costs you hours of your time, especially when having to make a deadline this can be a killer. Thank you for making a short and simple video about it that points right to the solution.
Thanks for this presentation. I just earned my PhD degree in CDA. You are a ‘stallion’ ;)
te amo
its a pity that the audio is terrible, because the content is amazing. In any case thank you!!
Dr. Hightower: I cannot thank you enough for this! Nothing addressed Word for Mac and nothing was presented in such a clear and concise fashion! I'm finishing my dissertation/project and I was going to beg my proofreader to help me with this! Like many things, asking the right question the right way brought me to your video. Manny many thanks with deepest gratitude!
Thank you. Very insightful and informative
thank you so much for your help sir
Can you create Pecha Kucha without verbal narrations.
In as much as this sounds interesting... I find it a bit much on just the chapter of findings. I have analysed and reviewed a lot of qualitative studies but non have mentioned this style of reporting findings. The reasons are that S & C in SQC are taking so much of what should be in the next chapter of discussion. Also, for researchers that has about 7-12 participants, how does just quoting one persons response in a paragraph give such a well balanced report of the theme underwhich the quotes are stated. Lastly, is there any article or studies by which this SQC are based on?
This was so incredibly helpful to writing up my dissertation. Thank you so much!!
How do you do this if you want to use the " x of x" page number format on the regular number pages? Because that is not an option if you click "format page number"
you got me with Rambo cover
Honestly, after reading so many books on discourse analysis. Watching several UA-cam videos and still feeling incapable of how to actually use it to interpret my data; then I found your video. Thank you so much!! I’m writing up my dissertation and I’m so grateful.
Hey there, thanks for sharing i'm interesting to writing topics. I'm going to subscribe for new tutorials about making a perfect piece of writing essay or paragraph. Take care
Thank you so much! :3
my university told me to just do discourse analysis and never specified anything, this is such a helpful UA-cam video - concise and clear and breaks down the useless complexity around DA - thank you !
Fck my English class
this is SO helpful for my MSc dissertation - THANK YOU!!!! :-)
Thank you for this video! I’m currently doing my dissertation using discourse analysis and from my university there didn’t seem to be a clear set example for following critical discourse analysis but this video has cleared some bits up!
Hello, is the test still available to find online? The link seem to be broken
Thank you !
I like the video but I have a question How different is a discourse from discourses?
Marcus, you are an efficient professor. Thank you.
